Last summer I went on a trip to India with my family. It would be the first time in 5 years , I would see my family members from India. The trip started with a plane ride that had took 17 hours. Usually, flights go to the destination in one trip, but this flight had two total stops. First stop was in Dubai. Their airport and city was amazing. Warm temperatures and nice people the entire time we were there. After 4 hours of being in Dubai, our plane was ready to take us to our final destination which would take two hours. At the end of the flight, the pilot announced " if you look to your left, you will see the city of Kerala". I instantly looked at the window with amazement in my eyes. When we reached Kerala, India, I felt so happy. Right when we went outside, I instantly felt this huge wave of heat onto my face. I looked at the sky and it was as blue as ever. There were people all around me with their families. I saw my cousin that came to pick us up and hugged her. The ride to the house was 45 minutes. When we came to the house, we were instantly surrounded by family members. Everyday of the trip, we did something fun. From speed boating, to riding atvs, to spending time with family. I roamed around the town everyday, while meeting new people at the same time. Every visit to India is a one to remember forever.

The Movie 127 Hours is an amazing and inspirational movie which everyone should see. This movie combines excitement and thrilling scenes through out the movie. Every scene makes you pay attention even more while it goes. James Franco, who played Aron Ralston in the movie, did an incredible job of making you feel different emotions throughout the movie. Ralston also makes the viewers feel like they were right beside him the entire time. After watching this movie, every time you go through something hard, you will remember never to give up, anything is possible,

I woke up on Christmas day with a smile on my face. My usual routine followed. Brushing my teeth, eating breakfast, then just hanging out with my cousins. Most of the time families open their presents right when they wake up, but my family has a huge Christmas party with all of my cousins and uncles and aunts at night on Christmas. At the party we relax, eat delicious food and just have fun. Then the time comes, where all my family members gather around the humongous Christmas tree. One by one our names get called to receive our presents. I was waiting anxiously for my name to be called. Then finally, my name was called by Santa. I happily ran and danced my way to Santa. I got my gift and immediately sat down. While the rest of my cousins were getting their gifts, I was shaking my gift and all sort of things trying to figure out what was inside this box. Finally the countdown came to open our presents. 3...2...1... OPEN YOUR GIFTS NOW!!! I ripped up the the box so bad, pieces of it flew to the other side of the room. I ended up getting a pikachu talking toy which made me tear up because how happy I was. I will never forget this day.

Gun Control
The main question for this is "Should everyday normal citizens be able to own a gun. Some people say they should be able to own a gun if they want to. Others say people shouldn't be able to own guns. I am neutral about this topic. I think normal citizens should not be able to own a gun because people say they would use a gun for protection. But the thing is most of the time they are used accidentally, Criminal assault wise, or they are tool used in suicides very often. In 2014, Chicago alone had 432 gun related deaths which is not as large like the 1960's to the 1990's but it still a insanely high number. But now on the other side, I think normal citizens should be able to own guns because lots of people use guns to hunt animals during hunting seasons. Even though there are murders and homicides, people have to be more very careful and have common sense that it isn't safe to have one around young kids or let people mishandle and kill someone on accident. Also people should know that they have at least something they can use to defend themselves from attackers or malicious animals.

motivation

The quote "Believe in Yourself .... All things are possible" in my opinion connects to me a lot because if I get into something I really like doing like sports, I motivate my self to practice a lot so I can better. I never say to my self that I cant do it. A goal may be hard and really hard to complete, but its never impossible. If you dream and work hard, you will be one step closer in accomplishing your goal. Also, I believe this quote applies to everyone who is trying to accomplish something very important in their lives.
